Incoming messages are scanned along with any attachments and compared to a comprehensive database of known viruses. This database is updated every two hours to minimize the risk of an attack.
Spam Filtering (Spam Assassin)
An unfortunate side-effect of publicizing your site and your email address is that you can become the recipient of unwanted and unsolicited mail.
Spam Assassin uses a database of thousands of common spam emails and email addresses, plus additional algorithms to block almost all unsolicited mail.
You have control over the degree of sensitivity which the automated system provides.
Mail identified as spam can be stored for a manual check before discarding
